Fall 2026 Application Related Dates
- The online Housing application for RETURNING and NEW incoming academic residents opens March 2, 2026.
- Priority application deadline for specific accommodation requests due to medical related
needs through Disability Accommodations & Support Services (DASS).
- Returning Housing Residents: March 27, 2026.
- New Housing Residents: May 15, 2026.
- The priority application deadline to complete housing application for premium room
space is:
- Returning Residents: April 3, 2026
- New Residents: June 15, 2026
- Last date for all applicants to update meal plan preferences is June 15, 2026
- For Academic Year applicants: to be eligible for a fee deferral, provide all documentation to the Financial Aid office by July 1, 2026.
- All students must be enrolled in 9+ units no later than:
- Returning Students: July 1, 2026
- New Freshmen Students: July 24, 2026
- New Transfer Students: July 28, 2026
- Room and roommate assignments will be released in August 7, 2026.
- Total financial balance OR first payment of payment plan is due August 18, 2026.
- Remaining HIPP due dates are as follows: September 18, 2026; October 18, 2026, & November 18, 2026
- Last date for all residents to downgrade meal plan is September 4, 2026
Spring 2027 Application Related Dates
- July 1, 2026 - Financial Aid Verification Documents Due to the Financial Aid & Scholarship office. Students who submit documents after this date may not have their financial aid funded to their student account on time to meet the January 19 payment due date.
- October 5, 2026 - Spring 2027 Student Housing Application for incoming academic residents opens.
- November 3, 2026 - Priority application deadline for Returning Residents to submit specific accommodation
request due to medical related needs through Disability Accommodations & Support Services
(DASS).
- November 22, 2026 - Last day to cancel housing license without cancellation penalty.
- December 1, 2026 - Last date to update mutual roommate requests and room preferences (new spring applicants only).
- December 1, 2026 - Last date for all applicants to update meal plan preferences (new spring applicants only). (Meal plan subject to change according to village assignment).
- All students must be enrolled in 9+ units no later than the following dates for your
student category:
- All current Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³» Students: January 4, 2027.
- All New Transfer Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³» Students: January 22, 2027.
- All International Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³» Students: January 29, 2027.
- January 8, 2027 - Room and Board fees will be applied to new resident accounts.
- January 8, 2027 - Room and roommate assignments posted to housing application for new residents.
- January 8, 2027 - Spring 2027 early arrival request form release (new spring applicants only).
- January 14-15, 2027 - Financial Aid Dispursement. After financial aid disbursement, balances are due by January 19. Students whose financial aid is not funded on this day should expect to pay outstanding balance due using personal resources until financial aid is settled and funded.
- January 19, 2027 - All Univeristy Fees are DUE: Tuition, Student Fees, Room, and Board. Students wishing
to pay fees in installments are required to sign up for Housing Installment Payment Plan (HIPP) online in myCI on or before 5pm, January 19th.
- Remaining HIPP due dates are as follows: February 19, 2027, March 19, 2027, and April 19, 2027.
- January 22, 2027 - MOVE IN! New Spring Licensees will be able to move in starting 9:00am to 4:00pm
on January 22nd. Appointment times will be posted in the housing application under
"My Housing" or on the timeslot page. Students should plan to check-in no earlier
than time posted.
- NOTE: Student accounts must be current with required payments made by this date to move in, even if they are expecting financial aid that has not yet funded. Students who owe a balance on move-in day will not be able to check in until the balance is paid.
- January 22, 2027 - Deadline for New Transfer students to be enrolled in 9 or more units.
- January 29, 2027 - Deadline for International/Graduate students to be enrolled in 9 or more units.
- February 5, 2027 - Deadline to reduce meal plan option (optional).
- February 19, 2027 - Second Housing Installment Payment Plan (HIPP) payment due.
- March 15 - 21, 2027 - SPRING BREAK!
- March 19, 2027 - Third Housing Installment Plan (HIPP) payment due.
- April 5, 2027 - Spring 2027 late departure request form released.
- April 19, 2027 - Final Housing Installment Plan (HIPP) payment due.
- May 27, 2027 - Move Out!
- NOTE: Students should be moved out by no later than 5:00pm.
